The mines were in operation from 1971 to 1981 and it was one of the most modern mines in Europe, built with very innovative criteria for the time. The bike tour will take place on Capo Stella, a promontory overlooking the beach of Lacona. Technically easy but unpaved route that therefore requires a minimum of cycling experience but suitable for beginners.
