Since 2002, Shannon Scott and his gifted guides have shown visitors not just a cemetery, but an ancient burial ground transformed into an 18th-century riverside plantation, now a Victorian cemetery. You'll be awestruck by the beauty and characters buried here, but will marvel at the hidden meanings of esoteric, religious symbols adorning grave art, and how much of it connects to Savannah and our everyday lives. As much as this is a history buff's deluxe day out, Bonaventure is a haven for wildlife with over 100 daily bird species! It's not unusual to see varieties of owls, hawks, eagles, but also foxes and, at times, dolphins in the river! While a photographer's dream tour, for our film buffs, Bonaventure as a filming location stretches back to the Silent Film Era all the way up to modern-day Film & TV, and of course, is central to everything inspirational to Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil! By tour's end, you'll feel like a mini-expert and glad for the adventure!

Step beyond the veil and into the haunting beauty of Bonaventure Cemetery, where crumbling angels keep silent watch beneath twisted oaks and trailing Spanish moss. On this daytime tour, you’ll wander a labyrinth of sorrow and splendor, tracing the lives—and lingering presence—of Savannah’s most storied souls. Among them, you’ll meet Little Gracie, the beloved child whose tragic death left behind a ghostly legend and a statue so lifelike it seems to breathe. In this garden of graves, the line between past and present blurs, and every monument whispers a tale of love, loss, and lingering spirits.

This museum is all about military history on a personal level and is a collection of military artifacts that I started collecting over 40 years ago. We own many items but the select items we feature in this museum are ones with a story to tell. When our visitors leave the museum, it is our hope that they will have a new found attachment to the individuals who wore the uniforms, hats and medals.

Our Savannah History Walk is an excellent way to orient yourself with Savannah’s past. We start in Savannah’s oldest square and outline the founding of both Savannah and Georgia. From there we head south, square by square, discussing Savannah’s booms and busts.
Some topics covered include the Oglethorpe Plan for squares, the father vs. son atmosphere of Revolutionary Savannah, the city’s most famous duel, Presidential visits, the Civil War era and Federal occupation, the experience of Antebellum and post-War African Americans, and the city’s churches and historic homes. We’ll take our talk right up to the tourist boom brought on by a certain book, the growing Port of Savannah, and where the city goes from here. You’ll also hear about dozens of men and women who made this place what it is.
This is Savannah's most in-depth and comprehensive historic tour. Whether a tourist or longtime resident, you’ll walk away with a greater appreciation of all things Savannah.

We pride ourselves on fact-based history. That's why we don't give ghost tours. Savannah has so much dark history that we don't need to make up any! This tour begins with a brutal duel that took place in a bar that still exists to this day. We'll move on to discuss Savannah's first murder. You'll see the site of the colony's first cemetery and the grave of a Native who was crucial to Georgia's success. We'll visit the location where a more recent serial killer met a victim, then discuss Colonial Park Cemetery's past and present. Savannah saw a great deal of tragedy during the Revolution, and you'll learn about the toll it took. We'll tie things up at the site of a killing that ironically put Savannah on the pop culture map and helped lead to its booming tourist industry today.
Please note that though some local ghost tours have recently rebranded themselves as "dark history" tours, we are the original! This is Savannah's only fact-based evening tour.
