An extra-small group tour to an ice cave located on Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier. This tour is operated by a small, local company. You'll meet your licensed guide at Jökulsárlón. From there it's an approximately 35 minute drive in a 4x4 truck to the glacier parking. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the edge of the glacier. There we put on crampons and start a 45 minute hike on the ice towards the ice cave. We usually spend around 30-45 minutes in the cave, taking plenty of photos and exploring the various formations in the cave.

Running from October to April, this 3.5–4 hour tour is designed for photographers looking to capture the unique formations of Breiðamerkurjökull glacier. The tour begins at 7:00 AM at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. From there, a 30-minute drive takes you closer to the glacier, followed by a 20–25 minute walk to the ice cave.
